Stories of the Heartland
is a radio series about a Midwesterner
making the news today, fifty years ago or 150 years ago.Radio listeners hear the news, but how often
do they hear the story? This series takes
listeners into the story about people, places and events. It features one story each week for 52 weeks.
The programs are divided into five daily five minute segments to allow the
drama of each story to build.
of the Heartland is a daily 5 minute radio program sold to
radio stations on a trade basis. I will trade a 30
second commercial in the show from you for the program. I will not take local
sponsorships unless it is part of a national
or regional buy so that you may sell an additional 30 second spot with in the program. I will do commercials for the broadcast on your station. The number can be negotiated and the fee waived. Network sponsorships have included sales of
program content, towns hoping to promote them selves and others. Here is a sample.
Protection will be given up to a 30 miles radius of your city of license unless a written document specifically sets out that this may be waived. The document must be approved by myself and your radio station sales manager. I will come to your community to promote the program on your station. The fee and events that I will speak at for your area will be negotiated. For more on what I do for a fee please look at the Talks tab.
